Advanced budgeting and forecasting for managers
Part of the budgeting series for managers
Successful organisations adopt robust and flexible budgeting and forecasting frameworks. What do these organisations do to create management buy-in and how do these organisations create budgetary processes that assist the delivery of organisational goals?
To answer these questions, this programme will examine the pros and cons of budgeting and forecasting techniques used by organisations in New Zealand and overseas. Many of these successful organisations "mix and match" several budgetary approaches to create a budgeting framework that meets their management requirements and organisational circumstances. This programme is designed to provide senior managers with the insights to follow such an approach. Budgeting methods will be related to real life organisations and you'll have the opportunity to apply techniques to case studies and to your own organisation.
